
Hi, if you're reading this you're probably interested in making your own armor trims but found that they don't show up in game (at least not all the way). These two PNG files are based on the netherite armor, and are in the correct colors that mojang dedicated to allow trim colors to override. If you were to apply these images to the trim files, all your armor would be colored as redstone, copper, emerald, etc.

In case you were curious, there are 8 (black and white) colors total in the default, vanilla trim_palette.png that Mojang uses, so that's the limit for how much detail you can add. If you're making your own trim material color palette, make sure your file is 8 pixels wide by 1 pixel tall. You can only have 8 different colors for a single material. These will correspond in the order of the vanilla file, trim_palette.png (not included for copyright reasons).

All you have to do is delete what you DON'T want to be your armor trims, then set the name and file paths appropriately. Feel free to use this pack as a template. :)
